TECHNICAL INFORMATION
MATERIAL: 6060 - T5 Aluminum
FINISH: Ultra durable, high-density polyester Powder-Coat finish in gloss, satin, matte or sable (textured), available to meet AAMA 2604 or 2605.
HEIGHT: Alternate railing heights available up to 42".
SPACING: 4" IBC code regulation required and met on all castings.
FASTENERS: Corrosion-resistant stainless steel fasteners are used throughout the railing assembly.
CODE COMPLIANCE: Our railings meet national safety standards and the 2003 ICC International Codes. Since Codes vary by city and county, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the railing system meets local codes.
TESTING: Rails are tested by an independent testing laboratory to meet the requirements of ASTM E985, E935 and the International Building Code (IBC). Test results are available upon request.
LOAD SPECIFICATIONS: Our railing systems have been tested in accordance with International Building Codes to withstand a 500 lb. concentrated load applied in any direction at the top of the guard rail as well as a 125 lb. uniform horizontal load. The railing has also been designed to withstand a 125 lb. horizontal load applied at any 1 square foot area of the railing system.
MAINTENANCE: Railings are maintenance-free: no painting and no rust.
